We are thrilled to announce that construction has officially begun on the Vista Hermosa well project. Progress is moving quickly, with the well already reaching a depth of three meters.

This initiative is a powerful example of community-led development. The residents of Vista Hermosa are spearheading the project and contributing the majority of the financial resources, with essential oversight and funding support provided by the Municipality of Santa Lucía Utatlán.

Global Partnership in Action

This project is made possible through a dynamic international collaboration:

  • The Rotary Club of Annapolis, MD, led the funding efforts, with special thanks to Lydia Hohman for her dedicated leadership.

  • The Rotary Club of Lake Atitlán (RCLA) serves as the host club, providing critical on-the-ground support and oversight.
